In 1996, at the very first Hopscotch, a few tables were set up to showcase whisky and beer to an enthusiast-filled crowd of about 200 people. From there, the aficionados of BC started to notice this event and it grew, quickly. 28-years later, Hopscotch Festival is the authoritative tasting event of all things spirits and beer within BC.
Enthusiasts are able to sip, taste and learn about the new, exciting and delicious products available or (soon to be available) products within BC. As well, old favourites join the party, reminding everyone why they have been around for so long.
THE MAIN EVENT! Returning home to Vancouver, BC at the PNE Forum, Hopscotch transforms this iconic building to the Grand Tasting Hall. Over two days, 7500 alcohol enthusiasts will attend this special event.
Jaunt from from booth-to-booth, tasting whisky and all other spirits, as well as wine, cider and craft and premium beer. Speak directly with the brands to learn about why each product is so unique and spectacular. The ‘GTH’ will exhibit over 350+ varieties of liquor, offer guest mouth-watering food, showcase incredible live music and will also have a coat-check, on-site liquor store and a smoking area as well!
Master Classes offer the more intimate approach to the tasting experience. Held within a private and cozy location in downtown Vancouver, each class will welcome about 40 people to sip and learn about an individual brand of whisky or a specific theme, such as “Master Class Regions”, whereby it showcases whiskies from a certain region of Scotland.
Each Master Class is led by an informative and knowledgeable speaker and includes all of the whiskies being spoken about. These sell out very, very quickly so definitely get your ticket before they do.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Grand Tasting Hall will showcase over 350 different types of tequila, gin, rum and of course whisky, along with "‘RTDs” (all of those delicious canned alcoholic ready to consume products), craft and premium beer and delicious food. With live music playing all night and the incredible “shmooze” that comes from an event like this, Hopscotch Vancouver is an event to be at.

GRAND TASTING HALL TICKETS
The main event, the Grand Tasting Hall is how Hopscotch all started. It takes places at the PNE Forum in Vancouver, BC. With and immense amount of exhibitors booths, showcasing hundreds of products, attendees are able to jaunt from booth-to-booth to sample and learn about all of the available products. Delicious food will be served and live music will be playing all night.

If this event happens to be postponed for any reason, all tickets will be valid for the next Hopscotch Vancouver that takes place. No refunds on tickets will be offered under any circumstances.
